About the Cadet Program

Overview:

The Police Cadet Program is designed for college students and individuals targeting a future in law enforcement. This initiative provides participants with hands-on exposure to law enforcement operations, including ride-alongs, community engagement, and training in CPR, first aid, and basic law enforcement techniques. Under the mentorship of experienced officers, cadets gain valuable skills and insights, preparing them for careers in public safety.

 

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent and enrolled in college.
  • Background: No criminal record.
  • Commitment: Attend monthly training and abide by all rules and regulations set forth by the Mendon Police Department.

Program Benefits:
