Memorial Day Parade

Mendon Police Department

On Monday, May 27, 2019 at 8:00 am, Mendon will remember and honor those who have died while serving in the United States Armed Forces.


The parade begins at 8:00 am at the intersection of Gaskill St. and Providence St. (near 23 Providence Street) and proceeds north on Providence Road to Main Street, stopping at the Old Cemetery to render a ceremony at the Revolutionary War gravesites, then proceeds to the island across from the Town Hall (Memorial Square) to render salute to the WWII marker. From there it proceeds up the hill on Maple Street to the Civil War Memorial monument where they recite the Gettysburg Address and render salutes to the Civil War participants. Then east on Route 16 to the corner of Main Street (at the traffic light) and turn right onto Main Street back to the center of Town (Memorial Square). There they will render salute to the Korean War Participants. The parade ends there.
